Tac-Force or MTech?

I came across this knife looking for one of my other knives that is a tac-Force speedster model. The problem I'm running into when I look at the picture is it's the same exact model as an mtech knife that I have but it is colored in gold. I'm not sure how design laws work and copyright is handled between these two companies but I felt it necessary to point out that I know absolutely for sure in tech is a manufacturer of this model of a knife. I couldn't find that model anywhere from tac-Force.
